- This tender is for the appointment of an independent organisation to distribute funds from the Jersey Reclaim Fund (which holds the balances transferred from local banks as dormant bank accounts), pursuant to the Dormant Bank Accounts (Jersey) Law 2017 (the “Law”). The Law requires that the Minister for External Relations appoints an independent organisation to distribute any funds released for distribution for charitable purposes in Jersey. The independent organisation will be responsible for running grant rounds, reviewing applications, allocating funding, and evaluating the outcomes of the funding, and should have specific expertise and a designated resource to provide these services in order to obtain the most efficient and effective utilisation of the funds for the greatest benefit to the island community.
The independent organisation should be able to provide this service also and ideally will have experience in attracting private donors.
Please Note: Your organisation must be licenced under Jersey law. All staff undertaking service provision as part of this contract must be either licensed to work in Jersey or, provided your organisation holds the correct licence, registered or licenced.
