Government of Jersey on behalf of Health Community services (HCS), is seeking to re-open
the mental health support service framework to any new interested providers.
HCS a Directorate of the Government of Jersey (GoJ) is seeking to establish a compliant mechanism to purchase low level support services to benefit islanders with mental health issues and carers. The proposed development of a framework approach will allow HCS to recommission activity of external provision currently delivered by a range of support services predominantly on island third sector providers and flexibly commission new and innovative provision to meet the needs of islanders.
Services will support people with a range of needs by providing advice and information on mental health and well-being services, supporting individuals to give advice and information on emotional and mental well-being to the people they care for or serve. It will also deliver 1:1 and group, clinical and non-clinical interventions across a range of settings and delivered by suitably qualified, experienced and assured suppliers The frequency and length of individual support will be determined according to need however people should be helped to move onto other relevant services once they have achieved their goals.
